Project Ready
The Project Ready Certified Site Program identifies appropriate sites for attracting new manufacturing, warehouse/distribution facilities, and high technology industries to southeast Mississippi. We've partnered with McCallum Sweeney Consulting to design and implement a customized program for our region. All certified sites undergo a rigorous screening and are available, fully-served, and developable. This objective third-party certification offers the credible evidence necessary to affect companies' site selection decisions.
Certified Sites undergo a rigorous screening and are:
- Available: the land is for sale, preferably with established terms and conditions
- Fully-served: if all utilities are not already at the site, then at least plans have been developed and include costs and timelines
- Developable: wetlands delineated and mitigated, environmental assessments (and mitigation if necessary) are complete
Site owners or managers have done all of the pre-work to tell an industry exactly what it will take, what it will cost, and how long it will take to move their facilities to that site.

- Key Brothers Aviation Site
- George County Industrial Park, Phase II
- Jackson County Aviation Technology Park
- John C. Stennis Space Center
