WIN Job Center opened in Kemper County
June 24, 2010 - The new WIN Job Center is now open in DeKalb, Mississippi, and taking applications for jobs that will be available when construction begins on the Kemper County energy facility.
Mississippi Power, in conjunction with the state Department of Employment Security, opened the center for those interested in working on the project.
The temporary facility, located near the Mississippi State University Extension Service Office in DeKalb, will be open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A new WIN Center will be located in what was formerly a car dealership on Highway 16 in DeKalb.
WIN, the Workforce Investment Network, is the State of Mississippi's employment office.
