Temporary Aid to Needy Families
Mississippi Power offers each eligible SSI/TANF recipient a discount on his or her monthly electric bills. Please call 800-532-1502 or visit your local office to receive a form for eligibility. This form must be certified by either the Social Security Administration or the Mississippi Department of Human Services to qualify for the discount.

Low Income Assistance
There are a number of resources, programs and local community action agencies that offer help with energy bills for low income, handicapped and elderly customers. We've provided links to some of these agencies below.
