Bay St. Louis area work group celebrates safety milestone

The Bay St. Louis area work group proudly celebrated three years without any OSHA recordable injuries or vehicle accidents at a luncheon recently.

“This is a great accomplishment because of your commitment to safety 360,” Customer Services Organization Vice President Jeff Franklin said. “Your family is depending on you to come home safely and your work group is expecting you to practice safe behavior at home. Thank you for practicing safety 360, and congratulations on three great years.”

Coast Division Manager Jason Manley expressed his gratitude for the team’s safety accomplishment.

“I am very proud of the Bay St. Louis team for completing three years of Target Zero,” he said. “They are a great example of being your Brother’s and Sister’s keeper.”

District Manager Debbie Benefield brought attention to last year’s plaque celebrating their two-year achievement and referenced how this year’s group picture will be proudly displayed next to it.

“Combined within this group, we have more than 200 safe years,” Benefield said. “What makes a difference is that each of you own safety for yourself and each other, and I’m proud to be a part of that.”
