SCAM ALERT – GreenDot MoneyPak calls are a scam

Recently, scammers have attempted to take advantage of Mississippi Power customers, telling them to buy a GreenDot MoneyPak. Mississippi Power will never ask for your Social Security number or credit card information over the phone, and we will never ask you to purchase a GreenDot MoneyPak.

If you receive a call or text asking for personal information or payment, it’s most likely a scam. Hang up and let us know at 1-800-532-1502.
