As severe weather moves across Mississippi this evening, residents are urged to be storm ready. The current squall line ahead of a cold front has produced tornadoes, wind damage, and hail in several southeastern states.

Before, during or after a storm, customers who experience a power outage can view Mississippi Power’s online Outage Map using a smart phone, tablet or laptop anytime to report an outage and track utility crews as they work to safely restore power at   https://www.mississippipower.com/in-our-community/storm-and-outage-center/.
