Kemper refund selection period to open on Monday

As the countdown to the opening of the Kemper refund selection period continues, Mississippi Power customers now have another tool that explains the process.

While increased staffing and resources are added to take the influx of calls, the video offers tips on how to make the check or credit choice online and as seamless as possible.

Customers who want a bill credit don’t need to do anything. The credit will automatically be placed on bills Nov. 9.

The easiest way for customers to make a selection for a refund check is to go online to mississippipower.com/refund anytime 24/7 during the Oct. 12-30 timeframe. Or you can visit a local Mississippi Power office or call 1-800-532-1502 to request a refund check.

Customer service office hours will remain the same, but you can use the website or call 24/7 and phones lines will be fully staffed on weekends too.

Former customers eligible for a refund will automatically receive a check at the last address we have on file. Call or visit an office to provide an updated mailing address.
