Media Alert: Mississippi Power sending crews to assist in Hurricane Laura restoration

Mississippi Power is sending a storm team of approximately 85 employees to Louisiana to assist in the Hurricane Laura restoration effort.

The team will consist of linemen, engineers and support personnel such as logistics, safety and security employees.

Mississippi Power’s Public Relations department will have an employee on the storm team. Video, pictures and interviews of the storm team working will be available upon request.
