RPM Pizza unveils new delivery EV at Dominos in Gulfport

RPM Pizza, the largest locally owned Domino’s franchise in the country, has added a pair of electric vehicles to its delivery fleet.

Company leaders from Mississippi Power and RPM celebrated this step forward in electric transportation as part of National Drive Electric Week on Wednesday at the downtown Gulfport Domino’s.

“RPM Pizza has proven time and again that they are leaders in innovation and technology in their business, and that’s attributable to their CEO Glenn Mueller, who is a tremendous leader,” said Mississippi Power President and CEO Anthony Wilson. “Together, we’ll explore EV suitability for delivery operations through data-gathering and analysis. We’ll then be able to share best practices and apply learnings to other operations with delivery service or daily route activity.”

RPM Pizza has purchased a pair of 2021 Nissan Leaf all-electric vehicles for their locations in downtown Gulfport and on Hardy St. in Hattiesburg. The EV charger at the Hattiesburg location is scheduled to be installed in mid-October.

“We want to constantly be innovative, and we think this is another innovation. And we’re so blessed to have Mississippi Power here with us,” RPM Pizza Owner & CEO Glenn Mueller said. “We’ll learn how far these cars travel, how many deliveries can they take. We’ll get into the details, but also continue to learn the most efficient ways to serve our customers.“

RPM Pizza operates more than 175 Domino’s stores in five states and employs more than 3,800 people.
