Mississippi Power employees prepare Comeback Coolers for victims of Hurricane Ian

Mississippi Power employees recently partnered with local nonprofit organization, Comeback Coolers, to assist with restoration efforts following Hurricane Ian.

The Jackson-George County chapter of Mississippi Power's Community Connection decorated coolers full of relief supplies for families impacted by Hurricane Ian. The chapter donated $1,000 and 26 coolers to the Comeback Cooler organization in Ocean Springs for distribution in Florida. 

The company volunteers also partnered with Eastlawn Elementary in Pascagoula, who decorated an additional ten coolers and provided several cases of drinks.

Employees previously donated Comeback Coolers for victims of Hurricane Laura and Hurricane Ida.
