Mississippi Power employees learned new skills and had the opportunity to Sharpen the Saw last week at 7 - the company's employee development conference.
A wide range of development and leadership classes, with topics ranging from presentation skills to leadership to maintaining a healthy lifestyle, were available.

The highlight of the conference was Wednesday's keynote presentation by FranklinCovey's Chris McChesney, the lead author of the Wall Street Journal's best-selling book, The 4 Disciplines of Execution. During his address, he broke down the 4 Disciplines and how organizations can get results through predictable execution.
