Mississippi Power encourages students to ‘Learn with Louie’
Gulfport, Miss. – Students across Mississippi Power’s service territory can stay bright by visiting one of several learning centers featuring Louie the Lightning Bug.
The popular children’s icon can be found in multiple locations around Gulfport, Hattiesburg and Meridian that promote education, STEM and STEAM programs.
“We hope children of all ages can visit and enjoy one of Louie’s learning labs in their community,” said Mississippi Power Spokeswoman Kaila Moran Griffith. “Our goal is to keep students interested and learning year-round.”
