Mississippi Power honored as Industry of the Century by Hancock Chamber of Commerce

Gulfport, Miss. – The Hancock Chamber of Commerce recently recognized Mississippi Power as Industry of the Century during their Business & Industry Awards Gala.

The annual event recognizes outstanding achievements in citizenship, industry and business over the last year. To mark the Chamber’s 100th anniversary, this year awards were also presented to organizations who have made significant contributions to Hancock County over the last century.

Mississippi Power Chairman, President and CEO Pedro Cherry, Vice President of Power Delivery and Division Operations Fran Forehand, Vice President, Treasurer and CFO Matt Grice, Coast Division Manager Mark Loughman and Bay St. Louis Area Manager TJ Pruitt accepted the award on the company’s behalf.

The Industry of the Century Award was selected by the Hancock County Port and Harbor Commission and the Hancock Chamber of Commerce.
